No regrets. Glad we were able to do so much together when they were in town. We all had a good time. Just giving an honest review of the restaurants and other places we visited so future patrons can make an informed decision and know where to go and what to expect.

As for Lujiazui and Face Bar, I'm just looking forward to the next opportunity/excuse I have to go there and enjoy the setting.

It seems that you have a lot of regrets. I'm sorry to know that you don't like Shanghai Art Museum. The reason for my recommendation is that the museum just successfully hosted the 6th Shanghai Biennale 2006 from 6 Sept. to 5 Nov.. Plus, I thought it would be a main exhibition hall for the 10th Shanghai Art Fair 2006(Nov. 16-20)...BTW, how much is the admission ticket? Isn't it 5 RMB per person?
As for Da Niang Shui Jiao, one of my friends who teaches at Shanghai Conservatory of Music likes it very much and provides the following information. The restaurant serves dozens of cold dishes such as shredded jellyfish with soy sause, shredded stripes with soy sause, cucumber with mashed garlic and chicken webs and dumplings of around 150 kinds of fillings among which minced pork and Chinese cabbage, minced pork and Chinese chives and minced fish, shrimps and pork are most popular. The address of the branch you mentioned is 2/F, 768 Middle Huaihai Road (near Ruijin No. 1 Road and next to a Papa John's).There is also a Quan Ju De, a well-known Beijing Restaurant famous for its roasted duck nearby.Other branches of Da Niang Shui Jiao are distributed over the city, including East Nanjing Road, Shanghai Railway Station and Xu Jia Hui.
